Good to see you Jon ! More speed required Good effort though and the others at the restart agreed that you should get a prize ..... for being the only X90 that didn't make it up the hill.
Captain Paul breezed up past us .... sitting down all the way. Looked like he was just out for a nice ride in the rain. He made it look so easy.
Fair play to all those that braved the weather.

Really pleased to hear Paul was still going good at Tipley - Pete knew he hadn't given it enough beans and was kicking himself. Still we were really pleased that for our first ever trial we made it intact to the finish. We learned an awful lot and having to forget mechanical sympathy was the hardest one for Pete. He got the hang of it by the last section (slippery Sam) where he decided that if we didn't clear it was only because we had blown the car up or gone through the hedge - thankfully we cleared it
Our goal was to get round and that we did - I think we had 4 fails one of which was a schoolboy error on tyre pressures.
Once again I cannot express my thanks and admiration to all those that make this event happen - the work behind it must be enormous.

How deep was the water at the bottom when you finished Ian, I got wet feet getting back to the road. The bikes and outfits that finished in those conditions deserve a medal well done all
Well my one off Classic Trial navigator experience has proved not to be a one off Now entered for the Lands End in the Suzuki with Stiggy at Easter and the Torbay on the 13th March where I shall be acting as ballast for a maniac in a Marlin
Need to change my tag line I think as I have found that 4 wheels can indeed move the soul
