It's is possible but if your going down the t4 route I would try and find a 2.5 they are a lot more reliable than the 1.9 I made the mistake of going for a 1.9 as they are normally a fair bit cheaper than the same year 2.5
I don't know of any but I would say for a T4 you should look at a 2.5 TDI.
For a T5 go for the 1.9 TDI but TBH I would be careful of all of the early T5's, or at least research the years for known issues.
I thought the 1.9 T4's were more reliable than the 2.5's? The engine is much less complicated, having mechanical injection. The 1.9 TD can be tweaked to release a few more horses but if performance, towing or motorways are a requirement then the 2.5 is the one.
1.9TDI everytime. Had experience of several, friends and family.
2.5TDI type 5 nicest to drive but wait until 6 speed box, driveshaft, DM flywheel etc lets go - ridiculous cost!
Standard 6 speed box issues £3k, driveshaft issues £1.5K.
Dependants on your wealth!
Add in you are paying double the money like for like with other manufacturers.
They are nice - just not that nice! IMHO.
