can anyone recommend some good boots that i wont have to sell my legs to own? got some fox ones at the moment but theyve broken down and very uncomfortable now
Tough as hell with ankle pivot for ease of movement
Looking at the prices quickly I would only have to sell 1 leg. if I was doing it every weekend I could justify it but I'm down to about once a month now unfortunately.
So surely for enduro you wouldn't want a motocross style boot then really? What if you need to get off and push?. But there no less or more protection really?
I love my Forma and Diadora boots. Very comfortable too. They both have MX soles that I have found are excellent for green laning, motocross and enduro.
BUT ..... the build quality I have found lacking ! The stitching rots and they fall apart. Shame really !
On the upside, I still have my pair of Alpinestars "DeCoster" boots that I bought in 1978. No rotting of stitching there.
For the price and fit I would still go for another pair of Forma MX boots though. They do have some tread on the sole that is angled so your foot does not catch when sticking it down, but is good for pushing the bike when you get stuck.

I've got a pair of size 9 Alpinestar Tech 3 boots for sale, they're the treaded all terrain ones like these http://shop.1stmx.co.uk/alpinestar-tech-3-all-terrain-motocross-and-enduro-boots-12274-p.asp
Only worn 3 times (about 7 hours in total) so barely broken in.
They cost £180 , open to sensible offers.
Genuine reason for sale, they're the best boots I've had.
