Its that time of the year again and i forgot to give it some thought until i hit the deck on the way to DM in Colyton for an MOT on the Honda late yesterday afternoon.

Nothing broken i think, but pretty sore everywhere, have lost the full use of my left wrist though crycry oh and will need a new helmet bashed that good and proper.

I will 2nd that nasty trip in to school on the bike today came close to an off 3-4 times an I was taking it real slow after the first slip they don't grit like they use to

Sorry to hear that Doug... I've pulled my road fleet now as it too cold for that malarkey.

I think this is just a quick cold snap though (hopefully) but they are predicting this winter to be cold one... Brrr!

I saw a gritting lorry out on Sunday night and thought it a bit over cautious, but at sunset on the moor yesterday there was still frost in leeward shadows where the sun did not reach all day.

Glad you weren't badly hurt and hope you're on the mend soon Doug.

I got hit on the SP1 by a deer two months ago and thankfully also lived to ride another day.
