Illegal riding near tipton st john

Report on our local facebook group.

 

 

 5 very noisy & fast motorbikes were being driven along the old railway line from Tipton to the Bowd at approx 4pm today. It's a Bridle path and extremely dangerous for them to do this. Anyone want to offer up a name? Happy for anonymous Pm's  if preferred.  It's not the first time they've done it - the path is used by not only horses but lots of dog walkers.  Someone is going to get seriously injured soon.

 

Hi zoe i am a member of the TRF a responsible trail riding group.

Were the bikes registered ?

If anyone needs help on where to ride or any other info i can help.

But no idea who they were and i would hope any of our members would know better.

 

Hi Roger Hart I don't know if the bikes had plates on - couldn't see from where I was.  Perhaps you could share the post into your trail riding group? Someone might know them? Thank you  for your post.

Been out with some Dorset trf today, doing most of the east Devon lanes, 9 of us came through Tipton approx 1430 hrs .... We didn't see anyone else out today... No signs of tyre tracks either....

Was not our group as 1. We didn't ride any Bridalways 2. We were just Finnish our ride 4.00pm at Kilmington

I am not saying you did anything wrong or rode illegally, just that you where in a radius of the area and that is enough to start misinformation!

Zoe that reported this is local and Normal.the old railway line is not a road or easily accessed with bike in that area.
