Hi Jacki

Sorry I can't help you with the 29th of May, hopefully someone will help you out there soon! I should be able to do the 17th of September with Sophie, pencil us both in for then and I'll confirm.

Pontispool report sunday 28th,
FOOD,I was pleased with it this time....
After arriving 15 minutes before the off Tim showed me around the course..well he did but got confused as to which way to go,so i just winged it and followed a horse...!!!
It,s a long day,non stop mostly but with brief interludes,
The judges were good and the stuffy people who had a Volvo last year, now have a Hyundi and were more pleasent....
Weather was warm/sticky with a few water droplets in the afternoon and just as we were finishing,
The down side....My arse is like a baboons...
To Kev or Vic,please dont tell the 3 ladys untruths,as i had to deny what you said to them...
All the judges praised us and said we were the best yet as to score records collecting...Better than the two hooligans on saturday...!!!
Mike..

Thanks mike and Tim, glad to hear your stomach was happy. I'm just having my breakfast before leaving to go and do my day there. Hope it doesn't rain. And that there is some cake left

Hi Jane, thanks for your kind offer, but they have found somebody at pontispool to help, and I forgot to update the thread to show that.

So it is all sorted. Thanks again, look forward to seeing you soon, Jacki

Thanks Vic and Simon and John and Sophie for your time at Pontispool last weekend, hope you all had a good time, found the tea and cake ladies, and had a natter. I hear you rode your BSA John. Any way much praise from the organisers for you all. Thanks again.

It was an enjoyable day for Sophie and me on the bikes, I did take my old 250 BSA which was fun, especially when I stood up on the footrest rubbers with muddy boots and my legs shot straight out LOL

Here's a couple of pics of the old bike.

Ah yes the Triumph Trail Blazer virtually identical apart from the fuel tank, colour scheme and the badges, it was built on the same Small Heath production line by BSA who owned Triumph, much like KTM with Husky these days I spose??

If I can find time I'll post up some photos of the rebuild rather than hijack this thread.

Cheers John
