Future projects involving green roads, repairs needed on washed out badly eroded (Not rideable on two wheels
Clearing of totally blocked roads or semi blocked
Each road will be judged on its own merits and probably how easy a fix!
Not looking for a political discussion just ascertaining whats out there that requires a repair or improvement
The hardest challenge will be anything involving water as in ford crossings, Eviroment agency terotority
Devon TRF lane number or grid reference.......(North.E.S.W. of Devon)
Whats required..........
Photos are handy!
This is YOUR Devon TRF group its up to you what gets achieved
One way that works is to be more pro active with Devon PRoW wardens (yes not all of them are as good as some but build on it)
Please list so we can begin a picture........
East Devon
192-010
192-019
192-024
What about 192-216 ?
Blocked by a locked gate at one end, easy enough to bypass but gives the impression we are not riding legally.
Blocked by trees for half it's length, the second crop. Simple to bypass using the forest track wrongly shown as an ORPA.
Blocked by houses recently built at the other end, easily bypassed by using the adjacent Bridleway, but using this gives the impression we are riding illegally.
South Devon ish
202-054 - Debate in progress
202-185 (lane of pain) - heavy growth, apart from the rut. In discussion with PROW to get landowners to do their duty and cut back before I call up the troops!
Hi Ian
hmmm little response, but I'm not surprised. Thanks for flagging up what you've identified. Devon lanes seem to change based on latest storm. keep a watching eye and do our best I guess.

couple of amendments added. There will be more when the summer growth has died back and a better assessment can be made.

I would love to open South Hole up, Hoc and I often ride past it and have a look.
Carry on looking Simon!
Until we receive some more positivity as we've witnessed in the last few weeks 'south hole' will remain overgrown.....We now need more than ever help within the admin side of things not just clearing mate
Yep I know the North Devon guys have preformed in the past with the lane clearing duties - Admirably! We need more commitment if we are going to see lanes open and stay open!
We need to work more as a group simon, we need the north Devon's finest onboard, like we did before!
Time for you guys to step up and give us the much needed info when your out + about chaps, other lanes that need attention would be ideal
Cheers for your post, it makes a difference, thanks
192-121 could do with a trim the undergrowth has died back but a lot still hanging into the lane.
192-122 has a new gate where it meets the top road.the last thing we need is another gate to open and close in this area.shouldnt be need to be kept closed as no stock control required here.

Yep I noticed the other week the same things
More the Western end of 121 needs a trim, tell me did you close all the gates on this road??
122 nice new shinny new galvi gate too, same thoughts Rog but I feel its more to do with the caravan in the field just over the hedge, if the new gate is shut that means they don't have to close their gate into the field maybe...Always a little apprehensive with this road as its so important for the Exeter trial. did you shut this gate too??
What about the gates on 192-120 did you shut them both??
I'm lifting the top one of its hinges next time (Northern end) and riding through the lower one and leaving open, plus I'll letter PRoW to tell em what I think.....
plus ask the question about the so stupid raised drain as the highways department have had a brain fart, stupid feckers!!
DON'T GET ME STARTED ON GATES! All we need now is Brian to come along.......
All gates with no stock control needed will be left open!
