Anybody interested in taking part in Austin Vince's navigational challenge in the Pyrenees next September?:

It's on the 5th and 6th Sep (Thursday and Friday) so would be possible to catch the Plymouth Santander ferry on the Sunday and return either Santander / Roscoff / Plymouth / Portsmouth from the weekend onwards
I have a van so could take two bikes down or ride in on the N260...
I've entered the last 5 years and love it - in the last 3 events, runner up twice, winner once, so I usually run a pretty intensive route, not a lot of stops, and long days which isn't too everyone's taste! Next year I'm undecided what to do, my usual team mates can't go, so I'll be looking for a team if I decide to take part for a 6th year. I'm very keen to a the 2019 event is running in my favourite area.
I'm happy cracking on with riding so wouldn't be too phased by a long day with limited stops. Used to doing Ten Tors / Moor to Sea and long days abroad on a road bike. Sense of directionand map reading is n't bad either!
Anything from a Montessa 4ride to BMW GSAs take part. I've entered on my TTR250, TE449 and 640Adv. Mid size bike, with decent fuel range is a good bet.
