Monday Run tree spotting - day 2

Lovely sunny and eventually quite warm morning for the five of us today.

Lots of water on all of the lanes but shock of the day was Watery Lane at Exton! (192-158)

The car has gone, and so has all the water.

Trees have been cut back and many tons of chippings (or whatever they used) have been laid almost up the left bend about 100 yards before the first building.

Slightly worrying is 20 odd tonnes of chippings that have been piled up before the farm.

We moved on to 192-175 Shortwood Lane, where we had been warned that the 4x4 brigade had been playing and the 'easy' line on the right hand side was no more.
However on arrival it appears the the farmer has also been busy and has opened up a drainage channel which has reduced the water level by about a foot.
Still deep enough to be slightly worrying but we all got though OK.

In East Budleigh 192-179 has now had a tree trunk position next to the tree stump which has been there a few weeks now. It's just after where the gate to the field is.
We assumed that its to deter the 4x4's but also bikes. We got passed OK but spun it 90 deg so it was easier to get passed but would still stop the 4x4's.

Good news was although there were a few big trees down, none were impinging on the lanes we rode.
