Short presentation on A Trip through the Himalayas, film and photos - after AGM


Following the AGM there will be a short presentation comprising film footage and photos of riding through the Himalayas on Royal Enfields and reaching the highest motorable pass at Khardung La at 5400 metres above sea level. Taster photo below.

Sometimes they would arrive assembled or they came as a pile of simple components that needed only muscle power to assemble on the bank and roll across the gap.

When we arrived at that bridge there was a big mess of metal plates at the far end, which they chucked down in some sort of levelish way, which we then rode over noisily, the trucks and cars were stopped from going over.
