My worst bit of maintenance

A couple of weeks ago I was looking over the Sherco and noticed damage to the front tyre. Bit of metal sticking through the tread.received_210332456774283.jpeg

Obviously the tyres dead, but needed to find out more. So tyre deflated and pulled on bit of metal

Wow, how did that get in there, I've seen so big nails etc but that's impressive.

Pulled a bit more. Then my daughter came in the garage and reminded me that when I was fitting the tyre I was going round in circles looking for a lost lever.

So if you've ever wondered, can you leave a tyre lever in a tyre, ride for 6 months or so..... Yep you can, but that's no a recommendation

Blimey! I'm awful at maintenance and am bound to do something like this if I left it all to myself!
