Devon TRF will hold its Anual General Meeting on Tuesday 8th using zoom
This will be when the new officers for next year are elected and this years incumbents get the chance to either stand down or be re elected.
It is important that the group go through this process to ensure the smooth running of its business continues.
It would be great, if you could spare a couple of hours from 2000hrs to make the election process a meaningful exercise, and to show your support for the great work that the elected officials and others do on your behalf.
I will post the link on here, once I have scheduled it.
Please join us and if you are so inclined, volunteer for a post or perhaps share one with someone else. There is plenty of support available for you if you are not sure about your ability.
see all 400 of you there!
regards Trevor.
This is the link
I have posted another link as the first was not correct, the one below is the one to use. I can email you the link if you send me your email address.
Trevor Foxon is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
Non members are always welcome at the meetings, I would hope to be able to persuade them to join given the chance to chat. This isn't really possible on line but hopefully this won't be for much longer.
A non member would have no voting rights at a meeting.
Hi Trevor,
Thank you for the invitation to attend the AGM, but I am already committed to another Zoom committee meeting concerning my 'other' club, Crash Box & Classic Car Club and the annual Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle which we hope we will be able to reinstate in July.
My thanks go to all of the current TRF Officers for their continuing work during the very difficult last twelve months.
Nick
PS Re the Exeter Trial in January, we hope to be running and have a full 150 car & bike entry list.
Unfortunately the organising team have decided that the event will finish at Crealy Park from about 4am, as it is felt that there is no practicable way of avoiding the usual crowds of spectators at the 'infamous' tests such as Simms and Slippery Sam etc. and still comply with the Covid restrictions.
Thanks for the information Nick, I trust anyone reading this will spread the word regarding the Exeter, shame, I love watching the heroes take on Simms....".theres always next year.
I have added the agenda and list of officer positions for tomorrow evening. Over 200 people have viewed this post, hopefully that will mean a good turn out
see you all at 2000 hrs Tuesday
Trevor

I missed the turkey and xmas pudding part but it all seemed to go pretty well.
We still could do with a Chairperson and ( somewhat to everyones surprise ) a lane clearing co ordinator.
Thank you to Trev for making it happen
Thank you to all the Officers for their efforts this year
Thank you to all the Officers who agreed to continue in their roles
Thank you to everyone who made it through the tech challenge and attended the Zoom meeting
and THANK YOU to everyone who has helped the group through a particularly challenging year.
I tried to join the meeting, but either down to poor broadband connection or poor tech skills I did not have much luck! I had pictures but no sound and then nothing.
Thanks to all involved with keeping our section of the TRF up and running.
