I'm sorry to say the Exeter Trial has been cancelled due to Covid concerns.  In the words of Father Jack "arse!!!".

A real shame! I thought that outdoors was relatively safe? Especially if you consider that most of the competitors and marshalls are of an age that they will all have had their Covid vaccination winkbiggrinbiggrin

I'm sure after the Christmas treble bubble the organisers are afraid of a 3rd wave and subsequent more restrictive last minute lockdown rules. They also mention their marshalls living in teir 3 areas being unable to travel and mix into teir 2 and 1 areas where the event is held.

I'm not sure there will have been that many completed vaccinations by 8/9th Jan either.

Disappointing but totally understandable when you read the reasons behind it. I was signed 
up for my third go at it. Oh well, hopefully the Lands End event will take place in April..
