I have had notification of three comments made on Youtube videos I have posted recently, none of which make sense and I suspect they are made by bots not people, but I can't work out why. One comment is on a video which has no views at all. All three 'people' commenting have youtube channels with no content at all and all joined very recently, as follows;
They do not show, nothing to see, I got emails telling me there is a comment on Youtube on a video but when I look on Youtube there are no comments on the video.
No links, nothing on Youtube just meaningless messages via my email that is why I am puzzled
As said if they are not showing Delete them or don't show them I put up a video a week to my near 3.5k subscribers and get between 5 and 10 like that within ten minutes of a new video going live and a hand full of Porn links as well chucked in for good luck some get past the Youtube bot's as well so I do keep an eye open at the launch of each video just so I can Delete them myself.

I thought the email message comment is usually a hyperlink. Are they?

No hyperlink. Just a link to their Youtube channel which is very recent and has no content.
The so called comment does not show with the videos which is strange and I only know what was said because of the email notification. I can't block them without blocking all messages from Youtube.
all the big companies are at it. i took out a promotional ' boost' for a post on my window cleaning page on face book , (you get charged by how many people it 'reaches '). my argument to that was how do i know they haven't made up the number of people it has supposedly connected with ? they also include how many 'likes' my boosted post gets. so there i am bobbing along at 50 eventually reaching 100 then a week or so later i check and bang 7k likes all from India. i disputed it with facebook and didn't have to pay too much in the end but frustrating knowing that they can do that and get away with it.

I think you have put your finger on it there Paul.
Bots generating artificial traffic with earning potential.
I wondered about that when I googled the 'names' of these 'people' who all joined Youtube very recently and saw they are all famous with 'normal' sounding names and with no connection to my subject matter and no content on any of their Youtube channels.
