Thankyou to everyone who helped with this fantastic weekend of trail riding.
The run leaders
The TECs
Our recovery driver Rob
The organising team
Parkers Farm staff
The feedback from the groups was brilliant, one even said it was the best weekends trail riding he had ever had.
I heard nothing but praise from everyone I spoke to, even the other holiday makers who shared Parkers farm with us.
A special mention should go to John Lin and Kirstie, without whom this would not have happened. There has been a lot of work going on behind the the scenes and it is this that made the event such a success.
Devon TRF is indebted to you All

A great weekend with plenty to talk about, well organised, good weather, punctures, ambulances, MasterBlaster at Bennah re-visited and pasties!
Great credit to the few that did all the hard work to put the event on, John, Linda, Kirstie and Trevor, thanks also to Rob for the recoveries (plural!) and Parkers.
Easy group 1, Trevor, Bonny, John H (TEC), Vince, Helen and John B, and sunday TEC Chris B(not shown).

Yes a good result I reckon My Saturday group were a competent bunch and always up behind apart from a bit of social distancing on some of the dusty trails . I was glad I wore my fireman Sam outfit as it kept me warm all day .
The eastern quadrant of Dartmoor never disappoints and we pretty much had the lanes to ourselves so it was quite a sight to find our way through the farmyard at Broadaford blocked by the full hunt meet, with champagne and canapés being handed out to the gathered horse riders in their finery. We negotiated a way through and everyone was very friendly. The only times we stopped long enough to take pictures was by the river Dart below Buckland in the Moor and at widecombe where I was too busy changing my rear inner tube, which had been trapped under the tyre anchor for a couple of years and finally decided it wanted to leak and a lunch stop at whiddon down .. phew
Big thank you to the few behind the scenes that made it happen .
Thanks to you all once again, namely Trevor & Kirstie for the organisation and then onto John & Lin for sorting the Saturday evening meal, the brekkies, on site liaison at Parkers - checking everyone in and sorting out the Vans with supplies and offering Mars/KitKat bars & Water bottles for riders on their day out Thanks to Ray Tribe for 2 (1.5 actually) fantastic days riding in stunning scenery on great dry lanes, at a pace that we thoroughly enjoyed Unfortunately for me I had a mishap at Rocombe/Coombe area and had a heavy fall My fellow riders helped me no end and Ray the came back down and took over, calling in medical support (which was brilliant from Devon ambulance paramedics & a trauma doctor In the Wild Goose car park !)
Suffice to say my day was over & thankfully I didnt need to be taken to Torbay, after a check over
Rob was called and loaded my bike from Coombe and took us back to Parkers - again excellent service
Lin was waiting for my return to make sure I had everything I needed and I was ok
After a kip and shower I took the van down to Ashburton for evening provisions and on my return, met up with Ray, John H, Trevor and the others again
So we had a bit of craic about it all
At 9pm Sunday night, John H knocked on my chalet door to check I was all ok - a lovely gesture
Felt ok for the long drive home to Yorkshire today and got home at 2.30pm
I must compliment Devon TRF on a superb event, with lots of attention to detail and and that lovely warm feeling of hospitality from you all
Roll on next years event for 2023

Was a brilliant couple of days! First time leading for this event. Good to meet some new faces. Also getting the hang of new app having viewranger taken away. My group much enjoyed themselves and the lanes no punctures or falling amazingly. Did 110 miles day one. But unfortunately day 2 we had a couple drop out so with a smaller group did another 100 miles.
Only got a few pictures but a cracking lunch break view above widecombe in the moor!
Hi all, congrats to all on a successful event, great to see the photos and recognise lots of faces from previous t2t's and a2e's. Also great to see the stalwart Bob still riding.
Day 1, Lunch stop at South Milton Sands and down to Salcombe before starting the journey back, only drama one of the boys WR being very thirsty! 120miles completed.
Day 2 started well, lunch stop at Pig & Whistle for some of the boys to have an all meat roast of which Mark H cleaned his plate. How he rode his bike after that I don't know! So we once everyone devoured there meals we continued to Totnes, then meeting Sean going the opposite direction as he entered 202-148 with only 2 riders behind! Suspicious of where the rest of his group where we continued slowly expecting to meet on the any corners of the 202-149 and on last corner Paul TEC for Sean is on the deck! Suspected broken ankle, ambulance was called, might be 4 hours!
Plenty of banter, mainly from Steve! Not sure what was worse for Paul the pain or laughter.
The decision by the boys I was leading, to try get Paul to the bottom of the lane for the ambulance, where's a stretcher when you need one!
With Mark H and my TEC Steve V carrying majority of his weight, I was glad to be at the front with only his legs to Carry.
We got close to the bottom of the lane to get the call ambulance 6 minutes away and everyone has been dispatched.
Home owner at the bottom was a Nurse and stayed with Paul.
Once in the land ambulance arrived the Air ambulance arrived shortly after Paul was loaded.
We started our bikes, the boys requested to complete my route towards Dartmouth before heading back. 90 miles completed arriving back at 6pm
