It appears everyone now wants 2 grand for a crappy old £700 car with sky miles. Anyone know or have something reliable they are wanting to move on vdfore Christmas.

Sensible miles, good mpg, tax and insurance.

Kind of what used to be called a great first car, I just need to be able to get between cullompton  and Exeter at all times of day and night for work so reliability  is key. 

Don't need a lot in of space for bits as will just be me for most of its time (although the misses will her 2 penneth for sure(

Anything out there

Bought a tidy 59 plate fiesta (85k miles) a couple years ago for around £1800, seems like they're nearer £2500-3000 now.

Inflation happened due to limited supply of new cars during/after covid.

The signs are that used prices are now falling, mix in the coming recession and we could see prices slipping back to normal later next year.
