The bike training continued on Friday with a bit more weight added to Frank to practice for the upcoming trip.  The lanes were in a good muddy condition.

The trees in this lane were covered in this very green moss and what sunlight there was illuminated them.  Little Haldon

Nice to see the current custodian is maintaining the ancient walling sympathetically.  I think the bailer twine, corrugated iron and sticks really add to the ambience.

I think this was near Bridestowe, quite a long series of lanes with a double ford.  It was very windy out on the moorland.

Lunch stop in the lea of a tree, the rain was intermittent but the Ivy growing on the trunk was enough of a natural umbrella. 

Can anyone tell me what the tower thing is on the horizon, the lane was just before Angels Steps

Angels steps, which I didn't go up.  It looked very slippery and I was starting to tire at this point plus I needed to get home.  Saved it for next time.

I did the run back home on the roads from North of Tavistock across Dartmoor as I was meeting someone at 1500hrs. 

Frank performed faultlessly and the only repair needed is the exhaust is blowing slightly.  Next week I am going for the full pannier set and all the gear I intend to take to Spain.
