I'm trying to figure out if you used tools, or just rode your bikes through.

biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin Nice joke biggrinbiggrin

My brother & I did say if we had our eldest brother with us we could have pushed him through to clear a gap biggrinbiggrin Laugh or what biggrinbiggrin

No we had the finest of folding saws, 6 inch in length with not many teeth that were sharp but as I said it was better than the one I had - None wink

Tree limbs hung up on both sides of the lane confuse

Earliest I can get there is 3rd September smile

Morning Em

Hope all's well?

Was out for a ride last evening with brother Phil, there is sizeable oak tree limbs snapped off and lying on both banks to the lane, weve cut a sizeable hole through to get bike and walkers through for now
Lilage lane W3W - audibly.clincher.tonic, west of east Budleigh

I cant get to the site until the 3rd of September to cut up said limbs

Please let me know if you would like us, me to deal with, easy job just have no free weekend at the moment

Thanks Ian

Plenty of overgrowth out there with a few obstacles/projects that really could do with sorting but people do tend to ignore these facts..... easy life they require I guess....

Yep bloody good to be out on the motor cycle after a long lay off, performed flawlessly not sure about the rider tho biggrin

Thanks to mark for the update on these tree limbs, i've now sent through the update to PRoW, this follows up my earlier email at the time of finding the obstruction

Morning Em, Sam

Sorry ive not heard anything from Sam.
Is this UCR in Sams area? Or is there new protocolSorry I dont understand I thought this was your area Em.

Update - 23/8/23, A trail rider has ridden past the obstruction, most of the small foliage has been cut by users, walkers etc.. I guess, the big limbs are there still in place.
Happy to arrange volunteers to deal with the fallen tree limbs, got all the documents in place etc risk assessments etcTirfor winch
Still okay and free for the 3rd September

Kindest Regards
Ian

Bloody Nora Neil, what an offer mate, thanks, I'll let you know mate.. I was hoping for some East Devon Beys to get in there and offer some muscle.....

Anyways lets see what happens, I might have to cancel and let PRoW know I cant do it through lack of help...

Thanks for the huge offer Neil smile

Too far for you to travel Tribey for such a project mate, although I agree about the practice bit it certainly does hone the skills, working out the compression etc...

Shame cos I would have taken the beast for you to have a go with winkbiggrinbiggrin

Thanks for the offer tho, appreciated
