Looking for a 150/70/18 part worn tyre

Prefer a Pirelli scorpion STR or would consider a set of different brand tyres 90/90/21 -150/70/18

Only for commuting on my Africa twin.

Thanks

I've got a set of nearly new Anakee Wilds that came off my T7 when I bought it. I swapped as I prefer the more off-road bias MotoZ. Advert is still probably live on the SWAR Facebook group. Search for me on there. I forget what I was asking for them. I'll check.

I've also remembered I've got a set of Pirelli MT90's which are much more road biased if they'd suit you? They were off my KTM 950 Adv. which again I swapped out for MotoZ.

Could be interested in something Geoff if either of these are still available. What size are they please?
Road tyres on mine at the moment.

Anakee Wilds now sold.

Pirelli MT90's still available. 90/90-21 and 150/70-18

Thanks Geoff. i have had both before and never got more than 2500 miles from either whereas the scorpions will do 5-6000 miles easily. Definitely a better tyre to wear out commuting. Luckily Ive been able to pick up a set of T7 takeoffs for a bargain

No worries matey, glad you got yourself sorted.

I've got the MotoZ on my T7 which see a lot of roadwork as I commute on that bike too. The MotoZ return decent mileage and the front I'm currently using (their 'Dual Venture') is non-directional so you can 'flip' it around to improve longevity. I've just done this for the first time as I was starting to see a wear on the trailing edge of the knobbles. The tyres done 2000 odd miles so far.

A YouTube guy called Kyle Bradshaw (in the USA) whose channel is called 'Manybikes' said with four 'flips' of this tyre he's got 12k miles out of it. WOW!!! I don't expect to get that doing so many road miles as I do but they do last well, and have great grip in all conditions both ON and Off-road. Each to their own though.

Happy riding matey.
