Chumleigh to N Devon

Dave Clarke and I set off from S Molton car park. As usual.

Very luckily for me, a very good friend let me have a plethora of routes and tracks from over the years!!!

What an absolute cracker.

Two lanes in particular, 180-095 & 180-148.

The first, got to the top of 095, Clarkie - "I'm not going down there, overgrown with brambles!"

Me - "wrong!" :)

Absolutely shredded.

Clarkie, first bramble, me the last!

Advantages of blood thinners - a litre lighter for the rest of the day. ,,;)

148. - could easily have given it a miss. Boggy entrance to river, close inspection by foot, boots full etc. "Yup, doable". Cracking lane, nice farmer at top.

Farmers comment, "hello lads, not seen any up that one for a while!"

Dined at Spoons in Barnstaple, well it was "Curry day"!

I bought my present bike in 2017 on 23k, just to see if appropriate. It is, but too old for many. :)

Realized yesterday, I've done 26k since, a few bits and bobs but nowt serious.

90% lanes or TET.

Don't know who put this loop together in 2006, but a big thank you.
