Insurance

Hi,

just tried to inform my current insurer (Bennetts) of a few changes to the bike . Already informed them of the replaced tyres Pirelli MTs, skid pan and rear shock, all these were fine under the policy. Now I want or replace the bars with rentals and risers plus sprung brake and clutch levers.oh dear its over there 3 allowable changes so the policy needs to be cancelled and a new underwriter obtained at £379!

so my question to forum members is .who do you use that allow these mods at a reasonable price?

thanks

Glenn

Might be worth checking the Bennetts wording - they usually have a large list of mods that they dont care about you telling them. Id have thought the levers, risers and bars would be on there.

Unfortunately the mods arent on thier approved list of which they only allow 3.

The search goes on.

Ahh I see. Carole Nash are pretty generous with their non-declared mods.

Surely they were all done when you bought it and you thought it was standard.
