Monthly meeting in new venue 11th February, Cat and Fiddle

This months meeting will be held at the Cat and Fiddle, Clyst St Mary, Exeter EX51DP.

They have a separate meeting room which we have booked for the normal time, 2000hrs

We have reserved some tables from 1830 hrs onwards  for those who want to eat.

I will be there by about 1845 and intend to sample the menu.

This is not a permanent arrangement at the moment, but should provide us with what we want for the time being.

My plan is to run the workshop on navigation that we intended to do last month.

I hope to see as many of the normal faces there as can make it, plus, perhaps a larger contingent of the East Devon contingent, with less distance to travel.

Please can anyone who offered to help at the last meeting let me know if they can help me again at this one.

Well done Trevor.

I offered to help last time and I will be attending to do the same this time, offering to cover Memory Map on PC and android phone, group overlays, route planning and tracks, and GRM for anyone that needs it.

Does the meeting room have a large TV?

I'll be able (hopefully) to demonstrate the M.map in conjunction with the Garmin Montana via me lap top wink

It was quite a challenge finding something suitable, or even getting some places to answer the phone.
