We were very blessed by the weather, which made the 2 days riding even better than they already were. The weather also made it possible for our guests to chill outside there tents and campervans, caravans and statics after their days out.
On Saturday and Sunday we had 74 riders set of for a day on the trails, the leaders and TECs making sure their groups had chance to sample the very best of our lanes. They also ensured that a suitable amount of coffee, cake, chips, pasties, and even a pub lunch went down to keep them going all day. There was only a couple of minor injuries and a couple of flat tyres plus Rob was called upon once to recover someone back to the campsite.
Kelly, once again provided us all with breakfast on both days which was a very welcome start, with bottled water and chocolate bars to carry, thanks to Linda.
Parkers farm provided us with a great venue as always.
Everyone who I spoke to during and after the event had nothing but praise for the weekend and people involved in putting it on.
I would like to personally thank
John and Linda Heal, without who this event would not happen.
Rob Drake for providing break down cover.
Gill hall for fielding the Eventbrite correspondence.
All of the leaders and TECs, especially the first timers who put so much effort into planning and perfecting their routes.
