202-109 / 5623 - Twine strung at head height?

A recent run reported that they'd come across some farmer's twine strung across the lane at head height but couldn't see that it had any stock control purpose and thought it may be malicious. So if anyone is out Rattery way could they have a look please?

Cheers,

John

Had a look walked the lane only two lots of twine at Northern end with a bit of flag on it, wasn't high when I got there, in fact perfect hight to lift and get under.

By the time I walked the lane farmer had removed road side one to put cattle in the field ( he spoke to my sister as she stayed with my bike)

Tried to find farmer to speak to but he disappeared, probably sorting cattle.

Thanks Neil. I'll update GRM to warn of the possible stock control twine.

Thanks Neil, nothing malicious in that but I'll update the comment on the overlay database to warn of its use.

Cheers,
John

All trail riders need to to do is stop and have a chat with the farmer wink simple

Look we understand there is a need for a cattle or live stock device BUT when its not needed could you please consider all users and lower the twine please when not in use....wink

Could we also have some more florescent orange ribbon attached so users can spot when the bailer twine is in place - Simples

Thanks Neil for trying to find the farmer for a chat, maybe next time...mate
