Someone will probably recognise this thingy thing which eagle eyed Dave spotted lying on the ground on 202-081 today. If the owner can tell me what is inside it I'll be happy to let them have it back. I will be attending the AGM and can bring it along.
I've had two punctures on my road bike in the last month by the same type of little tack. I live at the end of an unkept gravel track which I want to check for more potential punctures. Anyone out there with a metal detector to borrow for a few hours, I will share any Roman coins I happen to find. I'm in Paignto...

The Highways people, despite claiming poverty at every opprtunity, has found a bit of spare money from somewhere and decided to spend it here. Currently impassable due to large 360 parked in it, soon to be a lovely clean smooth gravelly motorway. I notice its been removed from the Ten Tors route - used...
Since the demise of Arthurs/GT/George White motorcycles I am struggling to find a local supplier of Rock Oil PP2 two stroke oil for my CRM. Does anybody know of a local, or failing that, national supplier?
On my ktm200exc I run a 14-48 for laning and a 14-52 for mx practice tracks.
The 14-48 allows me to cruise around 50mph and a bit without screaming whilst giving me pretty good gearing on the lanes. However for the up and coming LDT I am wondering whether to change. Reason being for the very slow technic...

On the Overlays the following comment is as below. 192-161: Strongly advised to ride east to west because of the otherwise dangerous exit on a blind bend. A nice ford at the village end. But looking at the map it seems that the blind bend is on the west side of it, so should it not read "ride west to eas...

Anyone want anything as I'm going down there. I'm coming back to Exeter. Just thought if anyone needs anything for the weekends event and doesn't have time to get down there let me know.
has anyone got or tried a slim seat? i have an 07 plate so the seat for mine will lower 20mm. doesnt sound like much but does it make a difference? dont want to have the suspension shortened as i cant afford to and i dont want to have to make the bike stiffer to stop botteming it out. Cant cut the subframe cos...
Even though i cancelled my rideout on sunday, i did manage to go on a recce to see what damaged had been done by the water here up east. I got a third of the way round my normal stockland route and found many new obstructions all of the lanes i rode had changed, johns lane near the the fish farmer Wilmington...
What a great newsletter this month, thanks Rob Just one question though, the text only runs for half the story on my 'It may rain but then again it may not' run report that Brian kindly produced (as it should be, one leads, someone else does the run report ). Could Brian post it on the forum please to giv...
No doubt one of the oracles of laning will get it right - but see if you recognise this lane (from today) Answers on a postcard. If you fail I may give clues...............
