Hi I want to make some frame guards for my freeride, they are to protect the aluminium frame from the side of my boots rubbing. Anybody got any suggestions about how to do it. One idea I had was to use some sticky kevlar type material something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Real-Kevlar-Carbo...
As most Devon TRF members are aware, there has been an incredible amount of work carried out by Devon TRF volunteers helping to keep Devon's green lane network open for all users. Recently we undertook a very ambitious project in collaboration with Devon County Council. If you would like to read more...
Our next event is on the 29 November. It is an Enduro X which is 3 x 45 minute races. It will be run at the Weston Wake Park where we held a practice day a couple of weeks ago. Everyone really enjoyed the fast flowing nature of the course which was a cross between Enduro and Moto X. For the race we are extending t...

Been out of the major bike scene for some years now but enjoy flitting through what's what now and again, anyone checked out this Honda with trailtech options. A quarter of the prise of a big Gs BMW and half the price of a Ktm 690 adventure, go take alook on you tube?
Many thanks to Mike Wright for taking me out for a bimble around the local lanes on Sunday, and taught me a few things to make my riding better (and more importantly,I stayed on the bike!).I had a great time and my confidence was boosted greatly, especially liked the flooded lane, and sorry to Mike for so...
Just got myself a CRF 250X that has come fitted with front and rear tyre mousses. The rear I was told by the previous owner is an oversize unit which I presume is correct as it feels a lot harder than the front. The advice I need is why would the rims be fitted with standard schraeder Valves if there is no tub...
I was planning some routes around Dartmoor on a 1.50k OS map from this site http://www.qwerf.com/greenlaning/?county=devon but some of the lanes are actually marked as footpath but one of the routes markes as a foot path I have already been down and is actually marked as byway. Which is correct or d...
To buy my Bonnie? Apart from the fact that the old ones I guess will now see heavy discounts - no, as one of the reasons I got mine when I did was I wanted one of the last ever air cooled ones I'm just coming to terms with FI and these have ABS, Traction control and all manner of new fangled gizmos that I just do...

Took a look see yesterday with Doug just for a short recce but we were only there for 10 minutes deciding on what method to use to get the deed done when the farmer rocked up in his Tractor fully armed and tooled up to do the job! Well what can you say but i guess "we'll help" Two and half hours late...
I'm sure this has been asked many times before but humour me. I'm looking for a rugged satnav with largeish screen that I can load routes from memory map and the lanes overlay onto. Budget less of an issue than getting good kit. Recommendations?

We are in the process of setting up a fun practice track and it's already looking good! It is situated just 10 mins from Junction 22 on the M5. It is a large site with hard stan...
