Day 4 started nice an early as we like, set off by 8:10am with another full days riding ahead of us. We set off heading due south towards Barmouth on the coastal road. Monday 14th Aug 2023 So the day started at home with some very heavy rain but we had a delayed start to the trip due to me having a visit from the city council tree inspectors which I didn't want to defer. By the time they'd left the rain had passed (great timing) so we set off. We stayed on the M5 all the way to...

Small tree down today on Back Lane - Yettington to Colaton Raleigh. We have worked it down the bank a bit but didn't have a saw with us to do the job properly. Rideable, especially if someone stands on one end to bend it down a bit. I hope to pop back with a hand saw in a couple of days to cut the remaining roots a...

To the south of Newton Poppleford there is a UCR off Dotton Lane that crosses the river. On the Eastern side of the river going into Ashtree Farm there is a padlocked gate across the UCR, is it worth reporting this to the authorities?
So just 2 of us went out on Saturday morning for a ride I decided to try 181-049 after walking the majority of the lane with the dog.
