Got thrown off into a bank, but it had a rally hard corner to it. Winded, and very painful, managed to get the bike up and ride it home. Five days later at A and E, four broken ribs! I never thought green laning was this dangerous! I need some hard core body armour!
Morning all Does anyone know of a field or piece of land where two of my grandsons could learn to ride a bike they are both 16 and want to try off roading. Ideally around the cullompton area Thanks Vic -- Edited by VicF on Sunday 31st of May 2026 07:16:05 PM
I had some spare time today and nipped out to burrator to check out the locked gate across 202 038. I spoke at length with a ranger there. Apparently the gate has been installed by South west water. Illicit campers have been using the lane and using the leat to wash and defecate in. Its a drinking water sup...

As title really anyone ridden this one recently?, considering riding it for t2t, it often gets trees blocking it though and not sure if I will get time to check it out.
Noticed this one on last ride, just watch you don't catch handlebars on what's left sticking out on the corner. Bigger branch was a bit too much for me on my own with folding saw.
