Reported via GRM, an apparent recent sign on 192-178 (5316) outside of Wynards Farm, Hayeswood Lane, East Budleigh I cannot find a notification of a closure on Hayeswood Lane, so it reamins an open legal Public Road leading to a crossroads with 192-177 (5315) to the south, 192-176 (5314) to the north...
This run had been in the planning for many weeks, possibly months come to think of it, but we never seemed to get a mutually agreeable date when all keen participants were available. Russ finally got his Beta back together after some suspension upgrades and fitting a larger fuel tank which he'd purch...
Just wondering if anyone on here has done the ACT (adventure country tracks) UK route? Ive got a week off in September and thinking of giving it a go on my Transalp. Hi Just in case there is one out there somewhere, looking for an XR250 Barrel as the one I have is overbored (badly) with not enough wall thickness to allow me to rebuild with any confidence. Thanks Matt
I had some spare time today and nipped out to burrator to check out the locked gate across 202 038. I spoke at length with a ranger there. Apparently the gate has been installed by South west water. Illicit campers have been using the lane and using the leat to wash and defecate in. Its a drinking water sup...

On the way to work this morning to find road blocked from fly tipping at the bottom of Grm 5513 (201-097) Certainly wouldn't try ridding it as road has been cleared but lane totally blocked. Presume police where called so should get cleared. Facebook pic attached.
Highways have been attending 201/035. There was a steep drop over a pipe when entering 201035 from the top. It was exciting riding but has now been replaced with a concrete slope. Makes it more manageable for the less experienced.

Asking for a friend who is returning to the lanes. He previously rode a 530EXC and is now looking for a tidy, genuine, 450 or 500. Max budget £4500. What have you?
Got thrown off into a bank, but it had a rally hard corner to it. Winded, and very painful, managed to get the bike up and ride it home. Five days later at A and E, four broken ribs! I never thought green laning was this dangerous! I need some hard core body armour!
A few weeks later, another rear puncture. Its a heavy bike, 160 kgs, on 110 by 18 on the rear. I tun about 20 psi, deforms a bit when I sit on it, and have had a second puncture in a matter of weeks. Its got spooked wheels by the way, so the question is this: Do I need a wider tyre? Ie, heavy bike needs more v...
