yamaha xt 350 kickstart shaft

Hey guys had a great day out on my new lol 1990 xt yesterday, but this morning I went out to kickstart it for another little play and the bloody shaft snapped that the kickstart is attached to. Sent a pic of it to a friend who said that it looks like it could of been cracked for awhile, so very lucky it happened...
