Hi all, this is a big ask and I will be amazed if I find one but does any one have a copy of TBM magazine number 45, it has a feature on the CRM 250 AR. I would also be interested if anyone has an old collection and would like to sell them. Many thanks Peter
Bit of a long shot maybe, but I was wondering if anybody has a suitable generator, at least 6KVA, ideally quiet(!) that I could borrow later in the year for an evening. Might be able to arrange suitable recompense. I'll give more detail if anybody responds appropriately. Ta very much, Alex
Hi all, as it says on the tin, I know it's the old Rotax lump so not as good as the later model but how true is the talk of build quality and poor lights/ naff electrics etc. Anything specific I need to look out for (rather than general things about second hand bikes) What kind of general on road economy can I e...
No, not for me!!! I've been asked if I know anybody who might have a moped/scooter for sale. Must be on the road, but they only have a budget of £450. Anybody got anything suitable they wish to get rid of? Thanks, Alex
As wifey had to "work" today, I took a days hols to look after the ankle biters. So, after painting the garage floor I realised just how negleted my bike was looking. Halrway through stripping it down it became apparent that there was till plenty of Whiteway Barton epoxy mud in / on the bike. ...

Has anyone have a unbiased view on the new Kawasaki KLX 250, I also understand that buying a new bike for greenlaneing is going to trash it relatively speaking. It would break the bank to buy new but is it not better to buy something that was new rather than spend time and money repairing worn out probs on a...
Above is a trials tyre, good for rock and most preferred for devon events Above is a knobbly tyre, good for mud and can rip up a surface. Above is a trail tyre, good for the bike rider who likes the odd visit to the lanes and loves the tarmac aswell, mostly found on the bigger bikes. Not preaching who r...
Having just missed out on Shaggy's KMX I'm wondering if anyone had something similar lurking in the back of their shed. Doesn't need to be a looker, but esentialy all there ( just needing a bit of TLC and mild spanner action) let me know if your having or fancy a clear out. It would need to be road legal (o...
Tim's XT was stolen from an open garage near his flat on the old County Ground in St Thomas last night. Difficult trip to his work at Crediton this morning I will tell him to check all the local spots the kids rag around on field bikes and check nearby streets etc but, meanwhile, please keep an eye out for it...
Have eaten some strange things in my time, but todays lunch was different, deep fried goldfish, and a bit of an indians flip flop in batter with rice. There was some dubious looking red sauce that came with it, in a plastic bag tied up with an elastic band, Oh joy I wonder what tomorrow will bring Margin...
Anyone ever been there, what was it like? I see Simmo posted up this info in another thread £10, not marshalled, must sign a disclaimer, big first aid box on track. No set days, can be either Sat or Sun, depends how many people 'phone up, they don't like to have more than 10 on track at any one time. Obvious...
