Took Troy out yesterday for a ride around a local area we know - was a bit wet and he was loving it (he would have loved Exmoor lol). Anyhoo took this shot of him riding through a nice puddle -- never seen such an effect of a vertical water rise like this, looks pretty cool [IMG]https://i537.photobucket.c...

My lad has been talking of getting a 125cc bike when he is 17. He is a keen off road rider and I wondered if a Yamaha DT125RE would be the way to go so he could green lane with me. What do you recommend? Are the Yamaha's any good? Might even try one myself so we have matched bikes if it can handle 14 stone! Cheers...

I have just got off the phone to Olly Cooke who is going to the Somerset TRF event on Sunday, and would like to know if there is anyone who would like a trailer space? Give him a ring on - 07989 337871
I was bidding on this but it went above my limit just at the end of the auction , probably a good thing as I am only chasing my youth, but it is such a lovely bike!! PS how do you post ebay pics on a forum? Dan
Is this ideal for Devon lanes? Video Top speed maybe somewhat limited but it seems capable of climbing steep banks and obstacles with ease. Two wheel drive also Martyn
The Somerset TRF Website is now active after a few problems. Please visit the site and contribute. As DTRF site is now well established , useful suggestions on encouraging members to make use of our new site would be good.

The top of this bar has a machined hex on it so it can be turned with a spanner. The part is SCREW ADJ 1/2-13 X 3.572 STL Can anyone decipher this engineering spe...
So I finally got myself, what I hope will be, a good off tarmac and off the beaten track all rounder. Im hoping that I can still get it up most of the lanes in Devon, havent tried it yet though, and tour it next year on a bit of an adventure holiday. A BMW G650X To test my theory Im thinking of a trip down through S...
I spotted this little beauty recently it should be economical being diesel but I am a little concerned that the exhaust may be impractical for green laning.
Read earlier parts in separate posting. Day 6 The Big OneHaving shown no interest in cars or motorbikes, at the age of 14 I suddenly became interested in all things with engines on two wheels. I was given a project in English to speak on any subject I liked, for 5 minutes, to the rest of the class. I dont k...
