Next weeks meeting cancelled as the pub will be closed. Perhaps, instead of going to the pub you could all take your tools to your local lane and do a bit of pruning. See you in October Trevor

Devon TRF has been in 'Rock lane' before, many moons ago cutting b...
Out with Neil on Sunday around south hams. It was remarkable to note how many lanes have changed from loamy slippery surfaces to washed clean boulder gardens and exposed slate. I bought my CCM MT 230 from Nathan who runs a kind of Holiday/experience/bike testing outfit in Braunton. The MT230's were left over from a CCM military contract and Nathan acquired them and sold them off as beginners green laning bikes. My main attraction was the price and 825mm seat height, as I am...

Great weekend away at 'The Dirty Weekend' on the enduro bikes. Thought we'd try something a bit different so booked this last year but it's come around quickly. A weekend all about bikes, camping and good food. We set off early afternoon Friday but it took and age to get to our destination at Hollyco...
I booked on to this as my mate Glenn is from Worthing in West Sussex and he comes down to Devon all the time. Obviously we have the best lanes, and the highest lane density, so who can blame him. I was looking for an excuse to go to his part of the world and see if there was any good riding to be had - my assumption...

Heading to Plymouth take the Buckfastleigh turning and immediately left is a byway. It looks like it should be easy, but steep, with lose rocks, its a nasty little ***! I think I pinched the tube on it, running 14 psi, as I got a flat soon after. I have a Bullit 500, excellent grunty engine for this kind o...

So, thats it. The adventure is over. Home now (to an absolute deluge of rain!!) after a total of 2150 (blindingly sunny) miles over 14 days riding ....... but WOW, what an adventure it was!!! Some of the highlights being..... rescuing Marc after his trip 'over the edge'. Admittedly initially it was a...
TET day 1 today - Section 5 (and a bit of 6) We were down for brekkie at the hotel in Pomferrada by 8am and were gone by 9:30. The sun was up and the temp on the bike said 21 degrees.
